EVERY ACTION – MKMMA WEEK 9

My post is late due to being away on a much-needed vacation for 10 days.  This has been fantastic, as I have had as many days to think about this course and think about my course in life.  Charles Haanel writes, “Every action which is not in harmony with Truth, whether ignorance or design, will result in discord, and eventually loss in proportion to its extent and character”.

When a person takes a real hard look at who they really are, and what they stand for, it can be for some, an uncomfortable moment.  For example, I was in discussion with a friend about integrity.  I believe most people believe in integrity, as do I.  I believe it so much that I try to govern my actions and thoughts so they are all based with integrity being the foundation.  On closer examination however, the truth presents another result.  My personal self-discovery revealed gaps and grey areas that represent my old self trying to manipulate my self-development and growth.  The revelation is emancipation of truth that sheds light in the most intimate and sometimes dark areas of our inner self.  No this is not a come to Jesus moment….that happened many years ago.  It is however, the guy in the glass being frank and with that the shackles which bind have been cast off.

My greatest desire is to be able to help and serve people in such a way that makes a profound difference in their life.  When I consider my NM business, and the people I have in my life, I am grateful that I have all the tools and resources to make this desire my reality.

The statement by Charles Haanel, “When you are able to make your vision clear and complete you will be enabled to enter into the spirit of a thing….  We have been taught that we assimilate ideas to the key driver of our thoughts…the subconscious mind, 7 different ways.  Spatial, Musical, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, Mathematically, Linguistically and Athletically are all ways our subconscious accepts information.  Armed with this I am enabled with my series of affirmations which are the strategic formula for my personal development.  Persistent and consistent execution will produce the change.

After all, Og Mandino states in Scroll 3, “I will persist until I succeed!”Change in life

IMAGINATION IS THE LIGHT INSTRUMENT FOR THOUGHT – MKMMA Week 8

Charles Haanel writes; “Imagination is the light by which we can penetrate new worlds of thought and experience”. Our Hero’s Journey continues with this profound thought!

We have walked a journey of self-discovery that can only be described as life changing.  Interestingly enough, as we walk this path, the simplicity of the exercise and discipline becomes effortless and now, is characterized as habit.

What is this habit? It is different for each person who takes time to look introspectively, but is possible for all who are willing to manifest positive sustainable change.  An independent article written by Mark Manson, The Huffington Post – The Most Important Question You Can Ask Yourself Today provides insight into our human condition.  The article’s thesis is synergistic with our course, as our course goes deeper into the tactical strategy.  What is truly amazing about this occurrence is the timing.  As we desire, our mind opens to new thought!  As we imagine, the light manifests itself in this case via the article to deepen our understanding and as a result, encourages our resolve. For me, it is a sobering verification that I am walking my heartfelt desired path and the universe around me is bearing down to assist me to achieve my desire.

Charles Haanel also writes, “Successful men/women make it their business to hold ideals of the conditions which they wish to REALIZE.  They constantly hold in mind the next step necessary to the ideal for which they are striving. Thoughts are the materials with which they build, and the imagination is the mental workshop.  Mind is the ever-moving force with which they secure the persons and circumstance necessary to build their success structure, and imagination is the matrix in which all great things are fashioned.”

This week, I leave on vacation.  My luggage contains my DMP, PPN’s, Affirmations, Copy of my vision board, GS and an excitement that I have 10 days to focus on my heart’s desire.  My expectation is only to live each moment with intent.  As my business partner challenged me to “Dare to Be”:

Dare to Be

When a new day begins, dare to smile gratefully.

When there is darkness, dare to be the first to shine a light.

When there is injustice, dare to be the first to condemn it.

When something seems difficult, dare to do it anyway.

When life seems to beat you down, dare to fight back.

When there seems to be no hope, dare to find some.

When you’re feeling tired, dare to keep going.

When times are tough, dare to be tougher.

When love hurts you, dare to love again.

When someone is hurting, dare to help them heal.

When another is lost, dare to help them find the way.

When a friend falls, dare to be the first to extend a hand.

When you cross paths with another, dare to make them smile.

When you feel great, dare to help someone else feel great too.

When the day has ended, dare to feel as you’ve done your best.

Dare to be the best you can –

At all times, Dare to be!”

AN AWAKENING OF THE MIND AND SPIRIT – MKMMA WEEK 7

This week has been to the core, enlightening!

In the beginning of the week, my business partner and I spoke about our skills and experiences as it related to our business.  Interesting, with all the experience and skill, I have been making serious excuses to not move forward.  After all, I have a great set of excuses. It is the fault of other people being lazy, making excuses, not reliable, my family challenges, my business partners, my up line, my down line, God and on and on and on.  WWWAAAHHHHH!  Will anyone feel sorry for me…? Give me a break!

Reality is served in cold doses with a hot branding iron (work that one out!).  The cold dose of realization came this week with; I was making excuses and using everyone else except, the Guy in the Glass, for my reason to not succeed.  No, it was not this reading (Guy in the Glass), that triggered my revelation.  It was in fact, a message communicated to me by one of my business partners.  The message was passed down from senior business owners who are very successful.  Their thesis of success is simple; they do not care who they talk to, or who how many calls are made as they are on mission.  They will continue to move forward and there is nothing that will interfere with their targeted objective. They simply do not care who they talk to.

As a result, the awakening came with remembrance of my youth in business, and the sage advice of those advisors.  At the same time, I was instructed to read in our Master Keys Mastermind Alliance course this week, The Seven Day Mental Diet by Emmet Fox.  Have you ever experienced a God synergy moment?  It is a confirmation that a person receives occasionally that confirms the traveler is on the right track.  The outcome of this is nothing less than freedom.

As a result, I have renewed my efforts and the results are already showing evidence of progress.  Maybe there is something with this idea that with over 7 billion people on this planet there maybe one or two people who would like to do  business with me.  Duh!  BTW, I hate that word, but it is appropriate for my previous mind set.

I have removed the self-imposed shackles of defeat and replaced it with Og Mandino’s second scroll which instructs us to, “Greet this day with love in my heart”, and a mind that does not limit anyone being touched by our opportunity.  My mental filter is raised once again to make sure no input of information will be allowed to manifest unless it contributes to my positive outcome and objectives.  In short, the old and new have come together and there is only the forgone conclusion of my desired outcome to be realized.

It was a great week!

SUBCONSCIOUS REMINDERS – MKMMA WEEK 6

Every thought sets the brain cells in action; at first the substance upon which the thought is directed fails to respond, but if the thought is sufficiently refined and concentrated, the substance finally yields and expresses perfectly. – Haanel

When an individual sets out on the course of change, there are laws/rules which need to be observed and followed, to produce the desired result!  If the individual possesses the willingness to dig in and not relent, then the positive reward at the end is beyond what a practitioner can imagine.

For example, this month our reading is in Scroll Marked II of the Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino.  This scroll suggests, “I will greet this day with love in my heart”.  The entire scroll is about turning our ways to love and looking on each and every person with love that ultimately disarms darkness, and allows light to penetrate every interaction and ultimately our self-awareness.

This reading has been challenging, as I believe, I am a person who looks on others with respect and love.  Ironically, there are huge gaps between my thinking and my reality. So, why the gap?  Simple, my subconscious is still working under the old blueprint which is suggesting old cause and effect to life circumstances.  BTW, if you think this is simple, ask yourself this question, “If I am a person of love, does this include my enemy, colleague, rude acquaintances, business rivals, family relations, et al?  What about myself?” The truth is, there are always exceptions, which is the proof of what we are learning this week.  The question then becomes, how does one go about changing?

To answer this question about change, we must take into account that it is through deliberate and consistent repetition that we begin to change old habits into new ones. We ritualized our strategy each morning, noon and evening with meditation, reading and affirmations.  As a result, we begin to witness a person who has the mindset and forbearance to achieve commitments, and eventually long held desires and dreams.  To keep our head in the game, we set markers along our path that, “trigger a thesis, by looking at a pin”.  For instance:

Blue  Red Circle 2GreenYellow are visual reminders held within my written Definite Major Purpose.  Each colour is linked to smart goals which remind the person looking at the colour, what the underlying smart objective is.  You ever hear about rewiring your brain (subconscious)? This is one way to do it!  The end result, the discipline begins to change out the old habits by replacing them with new.  These new habits are the ways and means to achieve our ultimate end.

As I continue on this journey, I am seeing results of positive change.  If these positive changes can happen with the small things in life, then it stands to reason they will happen with the big things also.  After all, the subconscious has no size limitations when it comes to fulfilling our dreams.  The real question is … what is the dream?

VICTORY OVER THE OLD SELF – MKMMA Week 5

“But thought works no magic transformations; it obeys natural laws; it sets in motion natural forces; it releases natural energies; it manifests in your conduct and actions, and these in turn react upon your friends and acquaintances, and eventually upon the whole of your environment.  You can originate thought, and, since thoughts are creative, you can create for yourself the things you desire.”

The persistent pursuit of getting a mind under control, after so many years of neglect, is to say the least, a trip.  It is like cleaning out your garage after many years of neglect.  For many years you accumulate, until one day you realize, all you are looking at is JUNK!

The Master Mind Course continues this week to focus on the benefit of cleaning out the mental garage.  This is not the wholesale purging of mind, but is a sorting process that focuses on ridding it of bad habits.  This task is accomplished via persistent disciplines, which eventually become habits, that in turn replace bad habits.

Charles Haanel states, “The subconscious can and will solve any problem for us if we know how to direct it.  The subconscious processes are always at work; the only question is, are we to be simply passive recipients of this activity, or are we to consciously direct the work?  Shall we have a vision for the destination to be reached, the dangers to be avoided, or shall we simply drift? “

For those of us who challenge the norm of passive existence, this course produces todate some incredible insights into how our old self can be retrained and brought under control, to simply create a new awareness and reality for our effort.

Haanel continues with, “To gain this estate, three processes are necessary: You must earnestly desire it. You must assert your claim. You must take possession.”  Therein is the pursuit of our objective.  Taking possession of the emotion based desire that fulfills our purpose. Are you ready to take possession of what is yours?

MOVING FROM FEAR TO FEARLESS – MKMMA Week 4

Most people limit themselves in what they can achieve or attain as they base their belief on what others have told them. In addition, this negative messaging now takes on a personal strategy where people reinforce negative thoughts as a consequence of their subconscious blueprint. The resulting bad programming, so significantly imprints the person’s subconscious that they forfeit their given ability to fulfill their purpose.

In our MKMMA course this week our teacher Mark J aka Master Yoda states; “All limiting thoughts are fear based”!

According to Charles F Haanel, when you say ‘I think’ the “I” tells the mind what it shall think; when you say ‘I go’ the “I” tells the physical body where it shall go; the real nature of this “I” is spiritual, and is the source of the real power which come to men and women when they come into a realization of their true nature.

As we realize we are spiritual in nature we are gifted to understand that there is no limitation to what we can achieve.  The core insight is to realize this can be positive or negative.

Shedding a negative blueprint can be accomplished if you have the skills to create positive change.  How do you create positive change? The key is in the discipline of rewriting your subconscious.  Not with someone else’s thoughts or ideas, but with your own emotion based dreams. This is driven home by this video clip from Pursuit of Happiness.

These disciplines when continuously reviewed and meditated on become habits.  The only way to remove a bad habit is with a good habit (paraphrased from The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino).  Over time, these new habits begin to rewrite your subconscious to be able to achieve what you desire.

Read healthy and positive literature that builds a positive base of information for your subconscious to blueprint. Continuously review information you want to assimilate and filter unnecessary information out.  By being ruthless on this account, you will find your mind begins to clear and your emotional and physical health improves.  This is the beginning of the new you.

DISCIPLINE FOR THE MIND – PEACE FOR THE SOUL – MKMMA Week 3

Persist in this practice until you come to a realization of the fact that there can be no failure in the accomplishment of any proper object in life if you but understand your power and persist in your object, because the mind-forces are ever ready to lend themselves to a purposeful will, in the effort to crystallize thought and desire in actions, event and conditions.

Many people, who are the student of martial arts, understand the significance of “Mind of no Mind”!  The principle behind Mind of no Mind is the disciplined practice of the martial art until the practitioner acts and reacts with no conscious thought.  This is the time when the students rigorous training of mind and body, is triggered by the subconscious  resulting in the cause and effect of execution being effortless and effective.

This same concept parallels the  building and reading,  three times per day of your Definite Major Purpose, (“DMP”).  Your DMP consists of your personal, heartfelt and emotionally based goals aligned to targeted objectives with set dates.  What is interesting with this discipline is, as the student seriously moves to practice the strategy, the net result is an execution of ones desired objectives in a manner that is effortless and effective.  Like the martial artist, the discipline in itself becomes the balance in life, and the result inevitably, to those who are faithful, is a soul that is at peace. Harmony!

Those who venture out on the Hero’s Journey, come face to face with the training and development that ultimately assists the individual to achieve their core discipline.  The result is the individual, family and community fulfill their definite major purpose. This is because the trained and disciplined subconscious has such a profound impact that it is normal the effects extend to a community.  Ultimately this means your destiny is revealed as you become aware of who and what you were made to be.
